As a qualified therapist (pre-accredited member of IACP), I offer to the clients a warm, friendly, personal, focused and a non-judgemental supportive approach. In this manner, I work in a holistic and humanistic way, meaning that everything you tell me counts. I am here to be with you, to listen to your story and to support you with change through your therapy and beyond.
I am fluent in both English & French.
Person-centred care in a humanistic and holistic way.
My approach is integrative in its manner, based on Person-Centred Therapy (Rogers) and Reality Therapy (Glasser). This combination makes therapy practical, realistic and achievable. I also pull tools and use techniques from other theories, such as Gestalt, Existentialism, Psychodynamic, Social Constructivist and Behaviourist Therapies (for ex: CBT).
My background in Psychology, Philosophy, Sports Psychology and Tai Chi, are additional tools I use to help you incease your overall wellbeing experience. You can view me as a “fellow traveller” (Yalom).

Client Reviews
“I was a client of Alex 4 years ago and have to say I really enjoyed my sessions and he helped me process my circumstances in a gentle hearted approach, Alex gave me the space to be fully myself , allowed me express , cry , laugh etc on each session , he also added in role play to sessions in which I enjoyed as this was fun and not just " sit and talk about problems" he also is very future and goal focused which I felt helped me alot as the mindset shifted positive each session and also the little pieces of homework to help during the week was really a good touch as I felt this kept the focus between sessions ..
Alex has a gentle , calming , professional approach and I felt that he was fully present and understandable during each session , he has been a life line for me when I needed it , I still use some phrases and coping skills we had discussed and carry them through my life and pass them onto others .. If anyone has any doubts or concerns re counselling, Alex will show and reassure that there is only a positive outcome and will definitely help you change to the better of your willing to give counselling a chance and be open to this,”

“I attended counselling with Alex after the death of both my parents in a very short space of time in Jan 2025.I was lost at sea and struggling to find my focus in the grief. Alex very gentle lead me through the grieving process and introduced me to journalling, relaxation techniques and a little bit of tai chi which help me with the overwhelming emotions and fears. I have no hesitation in recommending Alex if you are contemplating entering counselling. This process was of great benefit to me.”
